When I was a kid my favorite movie was the Last Unicorn. I used to watch that movie all the time. I don't even think we have it anymore. But I also really loved the Star Wars Movies. Yes, I was a nerd at a young age. XD. Now my all time favorite movie is Pirates of the Caribbean, but I am still a huge fan of Star Wars and will always be. :P | | comments: Leave a comment |

Now though I am technically not a kid. I still like to vote in the kids choice awards. For the past few years I hated the host to a point where I didn't watch it. I believe it was Jack Black, Justin Timberlake, and Jack Black again. For the past three years. Which really bugged me. But this year it is Dwayne Johnson (The Rock), who I happen to love, so I intend to watch it this year.
I often like voting, but as I vote I usually think about who is most likely to win. Because many times the one I vote for doesn't usually. So I am going to put up the nominees, who I voted for, and who I predict to win.

If you haven't heard of it Repo! The Genetic Opera is a rock opera that just came out on dvd. It never went to theaters which is a shame because it is fully amazing. My brother is the one who showed me this movie and it has to be one of the best musicals I have ever seen. Plus it feeds to my demented evil side. Muahahaha.
The story goes, in the not so distant futures mass organ failures become an epidemic. But though the tragedy a hero emerges, or so people think. Geneco provide organ financing so that you can pay off your organs and still cheat death. However if you miss your payment, Geneco will send out a repo man to take back Geneco's property.
"Out in the night from the mist steps a figure. Nobody really knows his name for sure. He stands at six foot six, head and shoulders. Pray he never comes knocking at your door. Say that you once bought a heart or new corneas, but somehow never managed to square away your debts. He won't bother to write or to phone you. He'll just rip the still beating heart from your chest."
Muahahahaha! This has to be one of the greatest musicals to ever be made. It's rated R for strong bloody violence and gore, language, and some drug use and sexual contest. So not a movie for the kids if you have any. A move very much worth seeing if you ask me. And in case you are wondering the picture I have up for this post is a character in the movie, Blind Mag.

I never thought I would get caught up in a war, yet here I was ready for battle. This all seemed unreal, but it is what must be done. I can't let her get to them. My family is all that matters now. I would do anything to protect them, so here I was. This new world was counting on us. We were the ones meant to save it. I never quite understood why it had to be us, but we were here now. | Under The Stars The night sky illuminated with the hundreds of stars spread across its threshold. The moon almost seemed to hide from the beauty of it all. Travis looked over at Parker and she smiled at him. A small smile full of sadness. He didn't really want to leave Roscoe. For the first time in his life he had someone that he wanted to stay with. He was no longer afraid of his feelings, and when he finally gives in to them he is torn away. He looks back up at the ever growing sky. The only thing he is glad of is that he got to spend his last night with the girl he loves. They spent a lot of their time watching the stars in silence. He didn't really know what to say. He wanted to reassure her that it would not be their last night together, but at the same time he was afraid he would be wrong. After a few more minutes he knew that he could not ignore the situation anymore. He didn't want to leave her, and he intended to do everything he could to come back. He turned over to look her in the eyes and she smiled. This time their was a little more happiness in her eyes. He kissed her gently before speaking. “This may be the last night we have together now, but I am going to come back to Roscoe.” he said with determination. “How do you know?” Parker asked. “Because I have something to come back for.” he said smiling. She smiled back, this time truly happy. He lied back on the grass looking at the stars once again. Parker moved closer and cuddled to his chest. He put is arms around her and smiled.
